THE ANCESTRAL LIMA (Larco Herrera Museum + Magic Water)
Have you ever thought about immersing yourself in the mythical and magical history of the ancient Peruvian civilizations? We have designed a special tour for history , archeology and mysticism lovers. Come and learn with us about the religious worldview of the ancient Peruvians of the Andes and Coast, who left thousands and thousands of vestiges that are studied and exhibited today to tell us about the greatness and deeds of our pre-Hispanic cultures.
One of the 25 most important museums in the world awaits to give us an unforgettable experience with your local guide. The Larco museum is the most important in Peru, which contains more than 35,000 pieces of our pre-Hispanic cultures, coming from the different economic and religious activities of our ancestors, such as: ceramics, weaving and metallurgy.
Speaking of Peru is to speak of the Incas (1400 - 1532 AD), of the Spanish conquest (1532-1821) and of the current period, but Peruvian civilizations have more than 5,000 OF HISTORY! and in this adventure you will have the opportunity to be part of this fascinating and enriching experience knowing more about the pre-Inca cultures.
After the Larco Museum, we will have some snacks and then go to the famous and popular "Parque de la Reserva", which will keep us immersed in the ideological cosmos of the Incas. The fountains have a representation of the Andean universe, since this park was designed byindigenist artists, who managed to bring the Inca style back to the city.
After the walk around the whole park, we will have the fantastic show of the waters, one of the most spectacular in the world. The projection is based on showing activities and traditions of the 3 regions of the country: Coast, Andes and Jungle; as well as keeping us focused on the Inca universe and its worldview.
The Reserve Park is considered by the Guiness World Records, as the largest water complex in the world and is made up of 13 different fountains. One of them has the world record for being the highest in the world, 80m! !
