DAY 1WELCOME TO LIMA-PERU! EXPLORING THE LIMA’S HIGHLIGHTS!
  • Our professional driver picks you up from Jorge Chavez Airport to take you to your hotel in Lima.
  • Take time to have breakfast and rest at your hotel.
  • 2PM: Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and we will go to one of highest points of the city, located in Chorrillos district to go towards the historical “Morro Solar”, with its outstanding view.
  • The next spot to visit is the bohemian and artistic district of Barranco which is the smallest district of Lima. We will visit the “plaza”, the romantic and mysthical “Puente de los suspiros” and appreciate the beautiful art murals.
  • After Barranco, our visit will take part in the colorful and famous district of Miraflores, where we will visit the romantic “Parque Del Amor”. Then, we go towards “Parque Kennedy” while learning about the history and watching the cats living in this park and on the trees.
  • Time for food! We go to a very traditional “Local Market” in Surquillo district, where we will learn about many products we grow and harvest in our country and also learn about the Peruvian gastronomy.
  • Finally, we will return to your hotel, and you will be there around 🕐 6:00pm.

DAY 2 – COOK THE MOST POPULAR PERUVIAN DISHES! + CITY TOUR & MAGIC WATER & LASERS DANCE SHOW
  • 9:30am We are going to pick you up from your accommodation and with our expert Chef we will immerse in the Peruvian Cuisine 🚕.
  • We are going to prepare the most popular Peruvian dishes: Lomo Saltado and Causa Limeña. We show you how to cook your own Peruvian food and we will use traditional ceramic pots.
  • We are going to have lunch during the cooking class. And you will have some free time to explore near.
  • At approx. 🕐 2pm we will go to continue with tour, we’ll take you to a fascinating walking tour around our historical center. We will show you Palaces and castles our city hides, then the Saint Francisco Monastery and the impressive underground Catacombs!
  • We are going to visit “The Main Square”. Beside this, you will get the best pictures of the Archbishop’s Palace, the City Hall of Lima and the Cathedral. Other great places to visit are: “San Martin Square”, “De la Union Pathway”, the lovely surrounded wooden balconies of the palaces and mansions and the highest tower in Lima that belongs to Saint Dominick Convent.
  • 5:30pm approx, we will have dinner in a Local restaurant.
  • Around 6:30pm, we will continue visiting the Magic Water and Lasers Dance Show, It is one of the main attractions Lima City has to offer at night. This park has the Guinness Book record for the largest fountain complex in the world, displaying 13 different fountains and many are interactive.
  • Finally, we will return to your hotel, and you will be there around 9:00pm.

DAY 3LET’S GO TO CUSCO!
  • In the morning, our professional driver picks you up from your hotel to take you to Jorge Chavez Airport for your flight to Cusco.
  • Upon arrival in Cusco, assistance at the airport and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for relaxation to minimize the adverse effects of the high altitude and explore this wonderful city.

DAY 4 – MORAY & CHINCHERO COLORFUL ANDEAN VILLAGE
  • Hotel breakfast; pick up from the hotel at 🕐 09:00 am. Set off on the road to Moray archeological site (3176m/10419ft). This site has massive circular and Pre-Incan semi-circular agricultural terraces built as a botanical laboratory for conducting experiments on plant domestication and foreign crop adaptation. The region is so large and diverse that it is possible that at least 3000 plant kinds, including potatoes and maize, were cultivated there.
  • Today we have the opportunity to visit the community of Taucca, populated by 20 families and located at an elevation of 3,850 meters.
  • Enjoy a traditional lunch made by the community women from ingredients organically grown in their fields. Then the villagers will share their traditional Andean way of life with us. In addition, we will see them spin and dye wool thread using natural dyes and weave fabric following their ancient techniques.
  • Finally, we visit Chinchero, a hamlet famous for preserving traditional Andean spinning and weaving skills.
  • The tour ends 🕐 around 17:00.

DAY 5 – TOUR TO THE SACRED VALLEY (PISAC, OLLANTAYTAMBO)
  • Hotel breakfast; pick up from the hotel at 🕐 07:30 am. We embark on a journey back in time to the Inca’s Sacred Valley, beginning in Pisac, 31 km from Cusco. The old Incan archaeological site is on the summit of a mountain.
  • Afterward, go down into the quaint little town and wander through its colorful market, where it can buy intricate, beautifully hand-crafted products.
  • Afterward, have lunch at a nearby restaurant.
  • We next go to Ollantaytambo, an Inca military, religious, and agricultural hub perched on a mountain. Unlike other little villages, this one has retained its original Incan architecture, complete with magnificent stone structures and winding alleyways.
  • Finally, return to your hotel in the Sacred Valley for the briefing prior to the Short Inca trail trek.

DAY 6 – INCA TRAIL: KM 104 TO AGUAS CALIENTES
  • Hotel breakfast; pick up at 🕐 05:40 am from the hotel and transfer to Poroy station to board the train to KM 104 and meet the guide.
  • The train will stop at the Chachabamba archaeological site (2,170m/7,119ft) head of the trail; we begin the 5-hour climb to the Inca Trail. This path rewards us with amazing views of the big valley and gorgeous waterfall near the famous Wiñayhuayna Archaeological Site (2,700m/8,858ft), which translates as “Forever Young.”
  • We continue along tiny trails lined with luxuriant flora of broad-leaf plants and giant ferns. The precipice of the high mountain adds to the thrill. The Sun Gate’s (2,670m/8,759 ft) stone threshold materializes unexpectedly along the route.
  • Behold the magnificent city of Machu Picchu, surrounded by twisting gorges and wooded peaks. The remaining 45 minutes were spent going towards Machu Picchu enter.
  • There are 30-minute buses from Machu Picchu citadel to Aguas Calientes (2,050m/6,726ft).

DAY 7 – VISIT THE SANCTUARY OF MACHU PICCHU & BACK TO CUSCO
  • Hotel breakfast; at 🕐 06:00 am Take a bus to the Machu Picchu archaeological site (2,430m/7,972ft). Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2007, the mountaintop fortress earned every bit of its notoriety.
  • Around 07:30 am, the guided tour begins; the guide expertly directs through the astounding ruins and its main streets. Then wander around the town squares and climb the intricately carved stairways made of stone. Machu Picchu is considered the world’s spiritual center by esoteric wisdom.
  • The guided tour takes around two hours and 30 minutes.
  • From 12:30 pm to 13:30 pm, take the bus to Aguas Calientes.
  • From 13:30 pm to 15:00 pm, take lunch at a local restaurant in Aguas Calientes.
  • Return to Cusco: Later in the day, board the train to return to Cusco. Arrive at Poroy station and then be picked up and transported to the Cusco hotel.

DAY 8 – CUSCO CITY TOUR & 4 ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES

Pick up from the hotel at 🕐 08:00am – Tour begins from Cusco’s Main Square, Plaza de Armas.

Includes a visit to Cusco’s cathedral in which you will be able to see the intricate woodwork and colonial paintings that contain detailed Incan iconography

After, we will head to the Temple of the Sun (Qorikancha) upon which the Convent of Santo Domingo has been built. Interesting fact: according to a legend, this temple was entirely gold plated which left many conquerors impressed with its magnificence when they came here!

The tour continues with visits to 4 archeological sites: Sacsayhuaman is an archeological complex, a masterpiece of Incan architecture in which you will see mindboggling huge stone blocks, almost 9 meters in height that are still placed perfectly. Qenqo Temple is a temple dedicated to animal worship. Puca Pucara is another Incan archeological site located on top of a hill, used as a fort and administrative center. Tambomachay, which is also known as the Inca Baths.

The tour will end 🕐 around 12:30pm.

At night, our professional driver will pick you up from your hotel to take you to the Cusco airport for your Iquitos flight.

DAY 9 – WELCOME TO IQUITOS! MUYUNA LODGE IS WAITING FOR YOU!
  • Our professional driver picks you up from your hotel or airport in Iquitos, to start the adventure.
  • 10:00 am: We are going to departure by land (1hr50min) and by river (1hr) to the Lodge Muyuna.
  • Around 1:30pm: We arrive to Muyuna and we will have delicious lunch!
  • Around 3:00pm: we are going to walk behind Muyuna to see the variety of flora and fauna. Observation of the Leoncito monkey! Then we are going to appreciate the Sunset at Laguna Sapote. It is a memorable memory you won’t forget! (Finish 5:30pm)
  • At 7:00pm we are going to have dinner.
  • Around 7:45pm we are going to have a boat excursion to see caimans and nocturnal birds and mammals.
  • Return to lodge 🕐 around 8:45pm.

Meals included: Lunch and Dinner.

NOTE: We remind you to arrive on the 1st day before 9 am and leave on the last day after 5:30 pm.

DAY 10 – LET’S SEE PINK DOLPHINS SWIMMING IN THE HAPPY RIVER!
  • Breakfast at lodge at 🕐 6:30am.
  • Around 7:45am then we are going to have an excursion to swim in the Amazon River and see the pink and gray dolphins around. Make new friends at the river!
  • We are going to continue with the observation of the Victoria Regia, the largest aquatic plant in the world. The adventure continues! Iguana watching time (returning 11:00am)
  • Time for lunch at 🕐 12:30pm.
  • Around 3:00pm Piranha fishing time are going to make your day gorgeous.
  • After that, we are going to visit the town of San Juan de Yanayacu.
  • We will have a delicious dinner at 🕐 7:00pm
  • At night 🕐 around 7:45pm, we are going to have a walk in search of tarantulas and huge frogs.
  • Return to lodge around 🕐 8:45pm.

DAY 11 – ENJOY JUANACHI OR MOENA LAGOON! GOODBYE IQUITOS!
  • Breakfast at lodge at 🕐 6:30am, then around 7:45am 🕐 we are going to start with an amazing Boat excursion to the Juanachi or Moena lagoon looking for different species of birds and monkeys. Filling out your biodiversity checklist-card with your guide.
  • At 12:00pm: We are going to have our last lunch in the lodge.
  • At 1:00 pm we will return to the airport for your flight to Lima. Arrival at approximately 🕐 4:00 pm.
  • When you arrive at Lima you can take your connection flight to your country.
