ITINERARY DETAILED

Day 1: Welcome to Lima-Peru! 

• Our professional driver will pick you up from Jorge Chavez Airport to take you to your hotel in Lima. We will track your flight.

Day 2: Let’s explore the city and learn about its culture!

• 9am: We will pick you up from your hotel and with our expert local guide we will take you to our fascinating historical center. We will show you the Palaces and castles that our city hides, then the Monastery of San Francisco with its impressive underground Catacombs and “La Plaza Mayor”. In addition to this, you will get the best photographs of the Archbishop’s Palace, the Municipality of Lima and the Cathedral. Other great places to visit are: “Plaza San Martín”, “Camino de la Unión”, the beautiful wooden balconies surrounded by the palaces and mansions and the tallest tower in Lima that belongs to the Santo Domingo Convent.
• 1:00 pm: Lunch time! We are going to have lunch at a local restaurant.
• After lunch, around 3pm We will visit one of the 25 most important museums in the world. The Larco museum is the most important in Peru, which has more than 35,000 pieces of our pre-Hispanic cultures, coming from the different economic and religious activities of our ancestors, such as: ceramics, weaving and metallurgy. Finally we will drop you off at your hotel.

Day 3: More History And Culture in Huaca Pucllana Site Museum + Gastronomic History Tour in Local Markets

• 10:30 am: We pick you up from your hotel and we will begin to visit the Huaca Pucllana, which is an archaeological zone that tells how the Lima culture was in the period from 200 to 700 AD, contemporary to the societies, also coastal, Moche to the north and Nasca to the south.
•  Around 2pm we are going to try different Peruvian foods while having lunch! First, we will visit the local market in the SURQUILLO district, we will taste different types of exotic fruits, coming from the coast, the jungle and the Andes. Afterwards, we will continue to visit the Local Market in Surco that has a great interest in rainforest food and fresh exotic fruit juices. Finally, we will visit Viña Ugarelli, Ugarelli is dedicated to the production of dry, semi-dry and sweet young wines. Finally we will drop you off at your hotel.

Day 4: Caral, the first civilization in America!

• 6:30 am we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the oldest known city in the Americas, Caral. The archaeological site of Caral is among the most impressive ruins in Peru and is a popular day trip from nearby Lima.
• During this adventure, we will have lunch at a local restaurant.
• After this beautiful experience, our driver will take you to the Jorge Chávez International Airport, you will be at the airport at approximately 9pm.
