ITINERARY DETAILED

Day 1: Welcome to Lima! Peru’s capital is waiting for you

• Our professional driver picks you up from the airport in Lima. (please let us know your flight details).
• You will have the rest of the day free to rest.

Day 2: Lima City Tour & Bohemian Barranco Town Tour

• Around 9:00am we’ll take you to a fascinating walking tour around our historical center. We will show you Palaces and castles our city hides, then the Saint Francisco Monastery and the impressive underground Catacombs!
• We are going to visit “The Main Square”, the City Hall of Lima, the Cathedral, “San Martin Square”, “De la Union Pathway”, the lovely surrounded wooden balconies of the palaces and mansions and the highest tower in Lima that belongs to Saint Dominick Convent.
• Around 1:00pm we are going to have our lunch in a local restaurant.
• After that, we are going to take you to a fascinating walking tour of Lima’s most interesting and colorful district, known for its ‘bohemian’ lifestyle and local artist favorite district, around 2:30pm we will be arriving at Barranco.
• See the colorful stately mansions and churches while hearing about Barranco’s fascinating history. Visit the famous ‘Bajada de los Baños’ walkway, the romantic ‘Bridge of sighs’ and the Plaza San Francisco. You can take impressive photos with the best Murals!
• Finally, we will take you back to your hotel around  4:30pm

Day 3: The Lima’s Colors & Flavors Tour + Local Wine Tour

• Around 9:00am we are going to start with an amazing food tour. Our adventure starts in a local town called Chorrillos, the fishing district.
• You will have the opportunity to check out a local fish market, meet the animated Peruvian fishermen, and learn about our local products.
• You will have the opportunity to see, taste and learn how to make a variety of local snacks and flavors that our country offers!
• Afterwards, we will take you with us to enjoy time among Lima’s most trendy district. We will visit Barranco again, but in this case, 🕐 around 12:00pm we will try something different, we will take you to our favorites places to eat some delicious snacks and desserts.
• Around 1:00pm you will have some free time, we will take you to your hotel if you want to rest or if you want to have lunch.
• Around 3:00pm we are going to pick you up from your hotel to start our next adventure. This is a guided tour of Lima’s oldest wine district,
• with a Wine and Pisco history that dates back many years. Learn all about the wine industry and sample some of the best.
• This Wine Tour experience is about trying only dessert wine (Peruvian Wine) and some good pisco tasting.
• Around 5:30pm we will take you back to your hotel.

Day 4: Local Market Tour, Exotic Fruit Tasting, Peruvian Cooking Class & Bike Tour

• Around 8:30am we are going to start our Cooking Experience.
• We will take you the local market to buy all the fresh ingredients and to know how is the local seller normal day.
• You will have to choose which option would you like to cook; we have 4 different and delicious dishes:
• OPTION 1: FISH (Ceviche and Pescado a la Chorrillana), OPTION 2: CHICKEN (Causa Rellena and Aji de Gallina), OPTION 3: MEAT (Papa rellena and Lomo Saltado), OPTION 4: VEGETARIAN (Solterito and Pimiento Relleno).
• Once we have everything, we will go straight to the kitchen with your tour guide and chef around 9:30am.
• We will try the fruits we bought in the market and then we will start cooking. Of course, we will try everything we cook. After this amazing experience we will take you back to your hotel around 🕐 12:45pm to rest a bit.
• At 🕐 2:00pm we will pick you up from your hotel to start your bike tour. Our guide will help you to choose the best bike for you.
• We will ride over Miraflores and Barranco, you will discover the best spots of the city. We will show you the amazing sights around the bay.
• Finally, around 5:00pm we will be ending our bike tour.

Day 5: Huaca Pucllana, Lima’s Highlights & Cook an Authentic Ceviche + Peruvian Pisco Sour

• At 🕐 10:30am we are going to pick you up from your hotel and we will start visiting the Huaca Pucllana, which is an archaeological zone that tells how the Lima culture was in the period from 200 to 700 A.C, contemporary with the societies, also coastal, Moche in the north and Nasca in the south.
• After your tour we will take you to a local restaurant to have lunch with your tour guide.

Note: We can make an upgrade to have lunch in the Huaca Pucllana Restaurant for 43 USD extra each person.

• After lunch, around 2:30pm, we will take you Chorrillos district to go towards the historical “Morro Solar”, with its outstanding view.
• Then we will go to Barranco, which is the smallest district of Lima. We will visit the “plaza”, the romantic and mysthical “Puente de los suspiros” and appreciate the beautiful art murals.
• After that we will visit Miraflores, starting with the “Parque Del Amor”. Then, we go towards “Parque Kennedy” while learning about the history and watching the cats living in this park and on the trees.
• Around 4:00pm we will go to a “Local Market” in Surquillo district, where we will learn about many products we grow and harvest in our country and also learn about the Peruvian gastronomy.
• At 6:30pm we will take you to our kitchen to start our Ceviche and Pisco Sour class.
• Around 9:00pm we will be ending our class and we are going to take you back to your hotel.

Day 6: Goodbye Lima!

• Our professional driver will pick you up from your hotel to take you to the Lima Airport. (please let us know your flight details)
